Mango has gone GOLD! Yee Haa!What does this mean you ask? It means that the thing I've been working on for the last couple of months is "Out The Door". This means that things will relax just a little bit. Not much, but a little.
I got out of there about 14:00, and I have to say that this morning was LONG. I made a couple of screw ups that are going to come back to haunt me, but I'm actually feeling good about how I standing in my job for the first time in a while.
I gave my boss an opportunity to "fire" me from the configuration management position with no loss of face to either of us, but he seems set on having me do the job. It would have been nice to just go back to normal coding, and I think I might be getting a lead position on the next project that we're doing.
But, the big deal was Egils. Egils is an SCA event, if you are not familiar with the SCA, click here. Today was setup. Got to catch up with people from Kinkfest from last weekend.
At one point I was sitting with Heather, and looked over to her and said, "Want to go get a quickie?"
She said yes, and off we went. It was a nice way to start the weekend.
