Ok, today was longer, I got into work, things looked good. Went to lunch with David. Planned on going to dinner with Thor, got permission to leave at 15:30, "Provided there are no problems".15:15, we have a MAJOR problem. One of the components going into the build is no longer working.
I'm not going to go into all the theoretical reasons why you should not ship objects that you do not have the source code to - even if it works.
I finally get out of work at 18:30 and go meet Thor. Fantastic time as always. Thor and I go back 10 plus years, but it's only been since January that the subject of sex has ever come up. And boy are we on the same page. I'm a bit more into the sadism than he is, but other than that, we are on the EXACT same page. Like even to the point that both of us stopped reading "The Taking of Beauty" at about the same point; some where between page 25 and 35. Something about lack of consent.
Now it's time to hop on line, talk a bit and crash.
Tomorrow I need to get up, pack my shit for the weekend, and get to Eugene as soon as possible. Egils is apon us.
