Yee-Uh headed out for an interview today, and didn't get ahold of me for 5 hours.I had been expecting her to be back in two. That SUCKED.
This morning I got a call from my other friend who was going to be on that trip to California. I copied him the letter that Sparrow sent me and he has freaked. He is broke and about to be homeless. This trip was going to be a sanity touch base for him. Plus he has turned down 3 different rides down to the event (Antir / West War, it's an SCA event)
Yee-Uh, Ron and I skipped the pre-paid legal meeting tonight, it is just too hot to get anything done. We ended up going to Shari's drinking liquid and talking.
It was a really good conversation, I'm glad that Yee-Uh was there. Ron really got that when he is judgemental, it really shows.
Plus we came across a major difference in outlooks. Ron wants to help everyone, whether they want it or not. Meanwhile, I would like to help as many people as I can, but if they don't ask for it, I'm not going to track them down, tackle them and help them. Hell, I don't have that much time, nor that much energy.
I firmly believe that some people just like to complain, with out doing ANYTHING about it. I choose not to spend my time with people like that because all they do is suck the life out of me. My personal belief is that Ron HAS had the life sucked out of him, and he can not understand why he doesn't have more to give.
