I am really, liking my heart monitor. I got up this morning and off to the gym I went. I have it set for my pulse to be between 130 and 150 while I'm exercising. And the cool thing was that once I got into that zone, it would beep at me when I left the zone either too high or too low.I'm really confused about Venus. I've been seeing her since Thanksgiving weekend last year when Yee-Uh brought her to me. We weren't supposed to really do anything, other than have sex and I was supposed to introduce her to the SM scene.
She's 19, and she has a 2-year-old (he was 1 & 1/2 at the time) and I have had no intention of ever hooking up long term with anyone who already has a kid. Now I don't know. Plus I'm 16 & 1/2 years older than she is. What am I thinking? But at the same time, I think I've already fallen.
Her little boy (Calvin) is a hellion, and I'm not all that impressed with his manners, and I'm not all that impressed with the level of discipline that she was raised with.
At the same time I like him and he listens to me. He doesn't like it, but he does it. I've gotten to like the little rat. And I've really gotten to like time-outs.
Venus and I will need to work out things like how other people will fit into the relationship but before I do that I'm going to need to officially make her my g/f. That may sound very high school-ish, but if I've learned one thing, it's that formalities DO make a difference.
Oh well, tonight, Yee-Uh and I are going to see Shelly perform in a karioki contest, then we get on the road to Bend to go to Venus's mom's place. I will be sleeping on the couch, and Yee-Uh will be on the bed in the guest room. Then we have to get up in the morning because we have a regional event going on for Pre-Paid Legal.
