I actually got a lot done today at work, we had 4 minor programs to go out (patches actually) and I was able to get them all done today.Dancing last night was great as always. It's funny but I had forgotten how fun dancing was. The classes that I was taking were interesting, but they were not covering what I wanted to learn. Plus on the East Coast Swing, they were using 60's music when what I wanted to hear was 40's. So I'm glad that classes are over and I'm glad to be back going to berbati's.
I had a great talk with my sister last night, I need to call mom and let her know that while I have been throwing $300 a month to them, I really can not afford to do that anymore. I mean, I can send $100 a month home, I don't mind that, it's not that big a price for me to pay, and I can afford it easily. What I can't deal with is three times that amount. I mean, yes, I know they need the money, but damn, I'm still 5 digits in the hole (I said about a week ago that it was under 4 digits, I was off by one grand in one of my accounts). And I REALLY want to have it ALL paid off by the end of this year. Well, I've got 1,800 going out to parents for the rest of the year. If I can shunt 1200 of that over to bills that leaves me with about 9 more grand to find. Ron is planning on paying me back here soon which will be another grand and a half, plus my tax return for yet another 1/2 a grand. That leaves me with 7 grand to find between now and then. I can throw 1 thousand dollars a month to the out standing which leaves me with 1000 to come out of either investments or ye'ole film industry.
Damn, this is actually do-able.
I've also changed my goals for France next year. The goal is to go over and work at McDonalds and be able to live off of that much money. Thor gave me a great idea this afternoon, get myself into a foreign exchange program through Portland State. I'm not sure if they have any programs to go to Marsaille or not, but I should probably find out. It would make a work visa that much easier to get.
Last but not least, I'm going to be taking SwingMan and Thor to the BurgerMunch this evening.
