I'm getting ready to leave work. I think I'm going to take tomorrow off and just be done with it.Oh, here's a quick little tip from yesterday, If there is someone at work that you haven't talked to much in the time that you've been there, and you find out that they're leaving, do not give them little tips that you have found help full in your negotiations with employers in the past. Especially if they say that they are not very good at prevaricating.
The other side of that tip, is that if someone is giving you a tip on negotiating, and it involves a bit of prevarication (that's polite for white lie, or truth evation), do not say to this person's boss, "Sid here is telling me about how to bluff my way into a new job." Because that opens Sid's boss to be able to say, "That's how he got here in the first place." Embarassment and resentment is had by Sid as he sees demonstrated why you have never been good at getting the pay you deserve.

Ok, I did decide to take tomorrow off. and I went out with a friend this evening. She's about my age, and she pretty cool. In ways it felt like, "My relationship is going to hell, can we talk?" Which is kind of what it is, but I had fun talking with her anyway.
