Last year I went to an event called Boars Hunt up past Seattle, and there I met a wonderful woman by the name of Inga. Inga in her early 20's, is about 5 foot very little, blond, very intelligent, with a mind like a whip, in short, she's wonderful. She's had a very hard life.

Anyway, I went out to coffee (beer actually) with Inga, had a great time. The upshot is that, I want her, but she's not interested in any one right now (or at least not me). No problem right? She was a fun partner, very enthusiastic, but I'm not wanting to push. But it was disappointing, I was hoping that I could start seeing her on a physical basis again.

We had gone to the Virginia Cafe which is this wonderful little restaurant / pub that is directly behind Nordstroms if you are looking from Pioneer Courthouse Square. It's a cool little place with just tons of atmosphere. We both ended up with 3 pints of beer each (Black Butte Porter for me thanks) and talked for like 5 hours.

When we left, I still had too much in my system to drive, so I decided to walk up to Shelly's place in NW up by the Blue Moon. Maybe a mile. I called Shelly and kept getting her machine, she called me back just as I was getting near her place.

Shelly is great, and I'm like one of her best girlfriends, she has NO interest in me what so ever, which is cool. We spent some time redecorating her place, she has me suggest things and if she likes it, she keeps it. I needed to talk to her about the whole Freya thing. Seeing Freya on thursday was incredible, I am still so affected by her. Anyway, I found myself getting into a clingy mode so I made a decision and said, "I've got to go, I'm finding myself wanting to sleep with you, not have sex with you, just sleep, and you don't need that right now." And I was gone a few minutes later. Shelly has had some serious shit going on in her family and has also just broken up with her boyfriend of 5 years, she DID NOT need that from me. So I headed home and went to sleep.
